What is a Workshop Edition?
Although most recreational readers will enjoy The Good Wolf as it is featured in this edition, it is actually the required textbook for writers and editors wanting to develop not only their craft, but also build new roads to monetize their skills and talents in the ever-evolving world of both traditional and self-publishing.
A majority of workshop participants enroll simply to learn the finer details and techniques that will help their own work shine, but they are also hesitant to share their manuscripts, or have yet to start writing their first novel, which is perfectly fine, because we understand how daunting a writer’s journey can be, let alone, the basic concern of who you can trust with your original work.
That is why participants learn from, and work with, the same "first draft" of The Good Wolf in order to apply the lessons that are taught each week through a variety of methods, including ZOOM class instruction, small group collaborative exercises, and individual assignments, somewhat akin to homework, but without the pressure of grades.
By the end of the course, each participant that has completed his or her own edited version of The Good Wolf will not only be invited to join our nationwide network of free-lance editors, but they will also receive “limited publishing rights” to their version.
